Whether you come seeking knowledge of our neighboring planet, with whom we are seeking alliance, or from one of the many blood-drinking tribes, you are welcome.
We are the Planet Venereal, named for the Venari nation.
Venari-al = Venereal.
We orbit a double Red-Dwarf binary star system beyond the Great Spiral Galaxy, part – perhaps – of a loose, amorphous galaxy further on, where weirdos are welcome and all the stars are “off the main sequence.”
That star there, with the icy lavender cast to it, that’s the planetary nebula cast off by the White Dwarf star around which our neighbor planet and its three moons orbit.
You may know our neighbor from a popular Earthish show about their lost Crown Prince from some fifty-odd sidereal years ago. We have heard of this show but we have never seen it, and we kindly direct all inquiries about it to them.
Inspired by our neighbor, we are producing a show of our own, called “The Vampires of Venereal.”
It’s our origin story, about how a newly-graduated exo-botanist from a close-in Imperial planet came to a remote, dark, bog-ridden little world on the edge of nowhere, hoping to discover a plant that would win her fame and fortune, and ended up accidentally helping to create a new civilization.
The show features traditional Venari folk tunes like “Catch a Cuddly Coney” and “Venery, Rabble and Chase,” along with many more songs.
